2nd Canadian team to overpay for him...

Canes are set at wing. Needs are depth defense of the defense-first variety and a 3rd line center.

Even minus Ruutu, we are getting by fine there. If we add a 3rd line center that also frees up Jussi Jokinen (struggling in that role) to play wing on a scoring line. And then if we even get Ruutu back in April, it gets even better. Not enough room on the top 2 lines for him (Tlusty/EStaal/Semin, Skinner/JStaal/Jokinen).

Well, last year he scored 35. Don't think 4M$ is overpaid at all. Of course he started slow but he will get is gear on soon.

He practiced in the yellow non-contact jersey today, so hope is that this will be more like another week not another month as can happen with concussions.
